Educational Objective:
The
General Office Clerk is designed to prepare
the
student for employment in a modern, computerized business setting.
Students in this program will receive a solid foundation in computer
basics such as word processing, database management, spreadsheets,
graphics, and communications. They can apply these skills in any
type of business office in such positions as administrative support,
computer operator, and general office clerk. Students in this
program will acquire proficiency in all the major functions of
the microcomputer. They will be able to function a small, generalized
office, or in a larger organization in entry-level positions.

Educational Objective:
The objective of this course is to provide students with well-rounded
knowledge of the hardware, operating systems and software compatibility
of Microcomputers as well as upgrading, servicing and repairing
IBM compatible computers to board level. This program is designed
for students who wish to enter the personal computer sales and service
career field. Students will be provided with entry-level, industry-validated,
hands-on training that prepares the student to enter and be successful
in the job market.
There are no prerequisites for this course program.
